proof of work across sound, language, and systems
Everything here is made from scratch—freestyled vocals, longform essays, and AI processes pushed to their limits. If you want to know whether I understand how this stuff works, scroll.

Hell yeah.
But I don't expect everything to be good enough for Grantland, so I have this other blog.
Now that I trust my skill more, I’m loosening the rails. This Substack is for the work that doesn’t have to be perfect. I still edit too much. Still overthink. But I’m learning to let go.
That same blend—raw thoughts and meticulous refinement—is what shaped my latest batch of songs. The first I’ve put out on proper platforms.
And even if you don’t enjoy the music itself… maybe you’ll be interested in how I made it backwards. Or maybe not. Either way, it’s time I opened the vault.

Writing shit down is the foundation of my life. I can't remember it being any other way.
I’ve always expressed myself through writing—poetry in my iPhone’s Notes app, never meant for anyone else. It was venting. I didn’t write with an audience in mind.
A decade later, that habit stuck. Notes turned into physical journals, and eventually into conversations with ChatGPT—not as a therapist, but as an objective analyst. I still find clarity and healing through creating, so the purpose is already fulfilled.
For years, when I did release things, I wanted them to be good enough—not because I liked them, but because I thought other people might.
That’s what led to New Grantland.
Thank you!
